CDA-Ghana is committed to safeguarding every child and adult who comes into contact with our work. We have zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, harassment or neglect — by our staff, volunteers, partners or representatives.
Everyone who works with us is bound by our safeguarding and child-protection standards, is checked and trained before working with communities, and is required to report any concern. We handle every concern promptly, confidentially and with the survivor's wishes and wellbeing at the centre.
You can raise a concern about anyone connected to CDA-Ghana — in confidence, and without fear of retaliation. You do not need proof; if in doubt, report it.
Your concern goes straight to our safeguarding lead. We will listen, keep you informed, protect your identity, and act — including referral to the appropriate authorities where needed. Reports can be made anonymously.
You may report anonymously — the name and contact fields are optional.
If a child or adult is in immediate danger, contact the police or emergency services first.
The wishes, safety and wellbeing of the person affected guide every decision.
Concerns are handled discreetly, sharing information only where needed to keep people safe.
No one who reports a concern in good faith will face any disadvantage for doing so.
Every report is assessed, recorded and acted on — including referral to authorities where required.
